Up in the rafters of The Wheatsheaf Inn we have four beautiful refurbished rooms, full of character for the traveller seeking to rest their head for night or two and enjoy Bed and Breakfast. The Grade 1 listed village Church offers a scenic view and a pleasant reminder of times gone by with the ringing of bells.

Local to the Inn are some truly spectacular walking trails which will take you from our doorstep and into the heart of the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, take in ancient woodlands, wide open beaches and grand stately homes with estates and deer parks. The RSPB’s Leighton Moss Bird Reserve is also just around the corner, home to reed bed birds, otters and much more. Horse Riding and many other fantastic activities are available on our doorstep and many places of Historical importance, such as the Grade 1 listed church right next door and National Trust property Sizergh Castle.
