COVID-19 Update – We are reopening on July 4th and will be serving a smaller cut down version of our menu until we get back into the swing of things. Due to restrictions we can only serve groups of up to 6 guests from two households or a social bubble. We are taking table reservations for both food and drinks, and although a table reservation is not necessary we may not be able to allow you to wait indoors while you wait for a table to come free. If you require any further information on what we are doing to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 at The Wheatsheaf please read our full statement here.
The Wheatsheaf Inn sits at the heart of a truly special landscape, an area recognised as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beetham is famed for it’s unique wildlife, stunning scenery, hunting, fishing, superb walking and historically important buildings. The Wheatsheaf Inn has been serving Beer and Food to visitors, sightseers and locals alike since 1609.
400 years ago the first brick was laid and The Wheatsheaf was founded. Historical events since that time have left their mark on Inn, creating a building full of character. The Wheatsheaf is the place where you can enjoy a pint, a beautiful glass of wine or delicious food in relaxed, comfortable company surrounded by walls that are steeped in history.
Welcome to The Wheatsheaf, we invite you to drink, eat, stay and become part of the story.
We welcome all weary travellers, their families and their dogs.
We serve meals all day, every day. We are open for tea, coffee and scones from 11am
