The Wheatsheaf has stood in Beetham for over 400 years.
Established in 1609, this old coaching inn has welcomed travellers, locals, soldiers, farmers, families — and who knows who else — through its doors.
On 9th May, we’re inviting you to experience the building in a completely different way.
We are hosting a Paranormal Investigation Night in collaboration with the experienced team at Sefton Paranormal.
Why Here?
Old buildings carry stories.
Stone walls absorb centuries of conversations, footsteps, celebrations and tragedies. The Wheatsheaf is no exception.
Over the years, we’ve heard whispers of:
• Unexplained footsteps
• Sudden temperature changes
• That “feeling” in certain rooms
• Glasses moving
• Doors closing
Are they just old-building quirks?
Or something more?
On 9th May, we’ll explore that question together.
What the Evening Includes
