There’s never a dull moment here at The Wheatsheaf, especially when it comes to the unexplained. Over the years, we’ve grown used to mysterious occurrences—objects moving on their own, eerie noises echoing through the building, flickering lights with no apparent cause. But every now and then, something truly chilling happens that leaves us questioning the unseen forces at work.
This past week, we witnessed one of the most startling paranormal events yet, and for the first time, we managed to catch it on camera!
It all happened on Sunday evening. As usual, our staff were busy serving customers, with everything running smoothly—until an unexpected crash shattered the calm. A glass, which had been resting securely on a shelf behind the bar, suddenly flew through the air and smashed onto the floor, seemingly propelled by an invisible force.
Naturally, we were baffled. There was no one near the glass at the time, and there was no logical explanation for how it could have moved with such force. But thanks to our CCTV cameras, we were able to capture the eerie moment as it unfolded.
We’ve watched the footage over and over, trying to make sense of what happened, but the mystery remains. Could it be a mischievous spirit making its presence known? A ghostly resident of The Wheatsheaf reminding us that they’re still here? We’ll let you decide.
